The history of Klompie/R602 R602 was founded in March 2004 as a clan meant to drive on TrackManiaNations servers. During the last 7 years we have known our ups and downs but never left the game really. Members did come and go, but the "Hard Core" is still driving on the R602 servers. You will recognize the members of the R602-clan by their tag: [R602]Drivername [R602]Klompie is the nickname of the owner and maintainer of the R602 Trackmania servers. He is also personally and fully responsible for all the tracks you find on these servers. He built them all. You don't even want to know how many he built... Yeah, he's a bit weird. We know. And in case you wonder where the clanname comes from: "R602" is the policecode in the Netherlands for "running a red light". You're more than welcome - if you behave If you log on to the Klompie/R602 Trackmania servers, you are expected to behave according to the rules as set by the owner of the servers. Violation of the rules will get you banned or even blacklisted. When Klompie started... In the "early days", when there was only Trackmania Nations, and R602 had only one server, our rules were... well let's say "legendary". The rules are based on the principle that Klompie, the owner, wanted everyone to feel welcome on the server, regardless age, race, origin, whatever. That meant that from the very beginning, certain rules were imposed that the gaming community wasn't really used to see: No swearing or cursing. None. This includes "disguised" or "censored" swearing. And yes, even "sh*t" is a banned word. No offensive nicknames or clannames. If your clan has an offensive name by our standards, you'll have to remove your tag from your nickname if you want to log on to our servers. No personal attacks Refrain from any kind of swearing and or cursing. Not everyone agrees with our rules. So be it. These are the rules, and if you want to play on the R602 server, you follow them. Simple as that. Scripts On the Klompie/R602 servers we have automatic kick/ban scripts active that are triggered by offensive language. You will be warned first, but repeated violation of the rules will get you banned. And as far as we're concerned, that's permanent. Human intervention Apart from the automated scripts, we also have a number of Operators and Administrators who can remove a player from the server if they feel there's a reason to do so. Should this ever happen to one your friends while you're in the server too, please refrain from discussing the removal in the game. Tell your friend to use the contact form or the forum on this site if he or she feels the banning was unjustified. Let's just have fun! By having these strict rules we hope to maintain servers that are fun to play on for everyone. Thanks for understanding and behaving accordingly. Over the years, we've seen more and more servers copying our way of keeping the server "clean", and we're happy to say that the verbal abuse on our servers has been practically eliminated by now. We thank all our guests for that! With thx to [R602] DAF55/66 for setting up this page!!
